SAN JACINTO, California (August 6, 2013) — One person was killed early Tuesday morning after sustaining major injuries in a traffic accident on N. Sanderson and Cottonwood avenues, according to a press release by the Riverside County Fire Department.
About 1:30 a.m., emergency workers rushed to the scene of the car crash and found the victim was trapped in the wreckage of a car accident. It took about an hour to free the victim and paramedics called for Mercy Air helicopter ambulance to transport them to a nearby hospital, but the person died at the scene of the crash about 2:45 a.m., the report said.
