RIVERSIDE, California — A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday morning when he allegedly rear-ended a car and fell of his bike on the northbound Interstate 15 freeway at State Route 60, according to a dispatch report by the California Highway Patrol.
About 7:40 a.m., the CHP responded to the two-vehicle traffic accident after a report that the motorcyclist and his bike were down in the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway. A SigAlert was issued about 8 a.m. as traffic was limited to the No. 1 and 2 lanes as emergency workers assisted the injured rider and tow trucks cleared the bike and debris from the roadway.
“Motorcyclists are especially vulnerable to injuries and accidents as they travel our busy freeways,” said Attorney West Seegmiller, founder of the Seegmiller Law Firm. “Those who are injured in a crash should consider having an attorney represent them against a negligent driver.”
