HENDERSON, NEVADA- A 56-YEAR MAN KILLED WHILE CROSSING BOULDER HIGHWAY

According to a recent article in The Las Vegas Sun, another pedestrian accident has occurred in Henderson. (This is the 14th traffic fatality to occur in Henderson this year). A 56-year-old man was hit while attempting to cross Boulder Highway late Tuesday night. The man was hit and killed at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Major Avenue. The 35-year-old female that hit him was driving a 2007 Chevrolet sedan and did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Speed was also a non-factor in the incident. In addition, it is unclear if the man was walking within a crosswalk. The Clark County Coroner’s office is conducting a toxicology report on the pedestrian and his name will not be released until his family and friends have been notified.
