CORONA, CALIFORNIA (April 23, 2016) – Last Friday, there was a car accident that claimed the life of 2 people on Interstate 15 and Magnolia Avenue, according to the Corona Fire Department. (map)

At about 9:25 p.m., an SUV was traveling northbound on the interstate when it entered a construction zone in the median at freeway speeds, veered off the road, and crashed onto construction materials. The SUV rolled over multiple times before coming to a full stop on its hood.

Two of the vehicle’s occupants, identified only as an adult and a child, were trapped. Both of them were pronounced dead at the scene. The two other occupants of the vehicle, identified also as an adult and a child, were sent to a local hospital because of minor injuries.
